The California Tide is a premier Adult Minor league Football Team that allows its players to develop their skills for the United Football Alliance League (UFAL) or participate for the “love of the game. The mentoring of dedicated coaches & former collegiate and pro-football players in the organization provides invaluable support in the pursuit of excellence.

The California Tide was founded in 2006 by Cornelius Harrell, a former player whose career with the L.A. Rams was cut short due to a serious knee injury during camp. With his friend and co-founder, Clarence Chaney, who played arena football in the NIFL, the support of family members, friends, professional players & community members, the team was organized.
